Last Updated: 11/26/2025
This document is provided for general informational purposes and may not reflect all legal requirements. You should consider obtaining independent legal advice.
1. Introduction
Welcome to AI Debt Roadmap (“we”, “our”, “the Service”). Our service provides an online tool designed to help users in Canada understand their financial situation and generate a personalized debt payoff and budgeting roadmap. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. No Legal, Tax, or Investment Advice
The information and roadmaps generated by the Service are for educational and planning purposes only. The Service does not provide, and should not be construed as, legal, tax, investment, insolvency, or credit counselling advice. We strongly recommend you consult with a licensed professional, such as a Licensed Insolvency Trustee, accountant, or lawyer, for advice tailored to your specific circumstances.
3. No Credit Negotiation or Handling of Funds
AI Debt Roadmap is a planning tool, not a financial intermediary. We do not:
- Contact or negotiate with your creditors on your behalf.
- Collect payments from you to distribute to your creditors.
You remain fully responsible for managing your debts, making payments, and communicating with your creditors.
4. Eligibility & Use of the Service
You must be of the legal age of majority in your province of residence to use this Service. The Service is intended for use by residents of Canada. You are responsible for providing accurate and current information regarding your income, expenses, and debts to ensure the generated roadmap is as relevant as possible.
5. Accounts & Security
When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized use of your account.
6. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for your own financial decisions. The AI-generated roadmap is based solely on the data you provide and makes certain assumptions. It is your responsibility to review the plan for accuracy and suitability before acting on it.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, attempting to hack or scrape the website, interfering with other users' access, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.
8. Third-Party Services
Our Service integrates with third-party services, such as Google Firebase for data storage and authentication, and various AI providers. Your use of our Service is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these third parties.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties or guarantees regarding the accuracy of the generated roadmaps or the achievement of specific financial outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI Debt Roadmap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
10. No Guarantees
Any estimated debt freedom dates, interest savings, or other projections are for illustrative purposes only. Actual results will vary based on your actions, changes in your financial situation (income, expenses), and external factors like interest rate fluctuations. The roadmap is a plan, not a guarantee.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Manitoba and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page upon making changes. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
